Lost in Space

London-based 3D Digital Effects Facility Lost In Space (LIS), was founded in 1990 by Special Effects Director Christian Hogue, with the aim to produce high end special effects and character animation work for the Feature Film and Advertising industries.

After freelancing throughout Europe and Australasia for several years, Christian then went on to set up  Lost In Space at Rushes, a world renown video Post Production Facility. After spell working for Industrial Light and Magic on Terminator 2 Christian returned to the UK to continue building LIS at the offices of the Computer Film Company.

Thanks to his broad experience Hogue was able to spot a gap in the market during the mid 1990’s for individually tailored software solutions.

LIS's commercials work included the National Lottery ,Vauxhall Vectra, Levi’s Spaceman, Honeycombe Craver, Whitecastle Burgers and the London Effects and Animation Gold Leaf winner Luzozade NRG
